Q-Tip a.k.a Kamaal the Abstract is preparing his new album Live At The Renaissance currently slated for a spring ’08 release through Universal Motown.
It’s also been rumoured Tip will also release the shelved Kamaal the Abstract album sometime this year, with bonus tracks.
Live At The Renaissance is said to be a live band approach album, however, there has also been mention of contributions from Dill Withers aka J Dilla, one of which we’ve got for you below. This doesn’t sound like a live band track, however it’s always lovely to hear some dark Dilla synths.

This track is mad bangin’!! I love that Tip is Reppin’ That Hardcore StiLL BiTchEs!! I’ve heard this instrumental by Dilla already and I’m glad to see that Tip is utilizing it, this track is definitely a CLASSIC and a very much Freshly Cut HandPicked Beats material for the archives!!
