The Extremities (Fresh Kils & Uncle Fester) “Lost Souls”

The Extremities return with a new single, which follows a creative release The New Tonic that saw the duo remixing CBC jazz catalogue album Tonic. The duo of Fresh Kills and Uncle Fester bring a recorded mixture of hip hop, jazz and funk, featuring the highly captivating drum programming of Fresh Kils who’s been heavy in the studio of recent with released project appearances with More or Les, Ghettosocks, and D-Sisive, with forthcoming work with Toolshed (Psybo, Chokeules & Timbuktu), Mindbender, King Jus, iRATE, Jesse Dangerously and many more.

The new Extremities single “Lost Souls” features Tim Crofts and Anthony Rinaldi with instrumentation contributed to the track, capturing a feel similar to the debut RJD2 record (an album that I loved).  Really diggin this, and look forward to checking out more from the forthcoming The Extremities EP coming in early 2010.
