It’s been a long road for Toronto bred Guyanese-Canadian singer Anjulie, who began her career in Toronto in the early 2000’s doing a mixture of pop, rock, and soul. Having released music independently while in Canada, Anjulie relocated to Los Angeles, and has since been picked up by Blacksmyth Management, home also to Talib Kweli, Strong Arm Steady and Jean Grae.

Her debut full length record entitled Boom is schedule for a May 2009 release through Hear Music, the album produced and co-written by Jon Levine of Philosopher Kings.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

  1. Jon Levine is the dude from that cartoon group Prozzak. Lame. Not a good look.
