Zo! & Tigallo: 80’s drippin’ with soul

Wow, I know I’m a bit behind on this in comparison to some hardcore Little Brother and Phonte fans, but give us a little break on this – it’s summer time after-all, trying to get at least a few hours a day of sunlight.

The Zo! & Tigallo Love The 80’s project dropped a couple weeks ago, with a hand inked run of 300 CD’s that have been mailed out to what seems all corners of the earth. The project is available for order through FatBeats.com (non-signed versions), in addition to those very special 300 that seem to have been mail-ordered direct to hungry fans. Be aware thought, the CD is a limited, numbered run of only 2500 worldwide, so if you want an actual cope of this be sure to hit up Fatbeats or google other locations ASAP.

Zo! & Tigallo are Detroit bred, Maryland/DC based producer Zo! and Phonte (aka Tiggalo) of course from the duo Little Brother and The Foreign Exchange.

…Love The 80’s is an amazing 8-track project of covers of 80’s classics done from scratch, fully re-made by Zo! with some tongue and cheek kazoos and vocoder effects that pop-up at points on the CD.

The album also features special appearance production by Nicolay and Trackacademicks.
