Jay-Z’s tribute to Oasis at Glastonbury

Jay-Z

Jay-Z made his big appearance at Glastonbury in the UK this past weekend, the mega-festival headliner for 2008.

The lead-up squabbling between Jay-Z and Noel Gallagher had been the sole talk of the festival leading up the event, after the Oasis lead man stated that hip hop had no place in a rock/guitar based festival like Glastonbury – that it is “a fake form of music.”

Jay’s response.  Performing Oasis’ Wonderwall as the opening track of his headliner set, complete with guitar over his shoulder (not actually playing though).

As a bonus, you also have Amy Winehouse who lead up to Jay-Z’s set, throwing punches at a male concert goer after he grabbed her breasts.

All in a days work playing for 180,000 in a UK field.
