Do yourself a favour and bookmark 12oz prophet, if you haven’t already. I should probably post news other than notable hip-hop deaths on TheCyberKrib, but this is too important to ignore. For those of us that grew up with Wild Style and Style Wars or like me, got into the culture much later, but appreciate it nonetheless, you will undoubtedly remember Frosty Freeze (born Wayne Frost), inventor of “The Suicide”, and all around original b-boy. Unfortunately, according to 12oz prophet forums, he passed away today at a ripe young age of 44. Known as “the walking hip hop encyclopedia”, Frost had an almost instant recollection of hip hop history including his own notoriety and associations with the leading figures in hip hop’s heyday like Fab 5 Freddy and The Soulsonic Force.
