Hudson Mohawke, a part of the new generation of beat wizards, falling somewhere between what previously was known as broken beat, but with the soul of Detroit street soul and hip hop, with a little glitchy/spacey twist has ushered in a slew of new faces in this bustling new genre.
I sadly didn’t get to catch much of Hudson live while he was here in Toronto, as a certain MANIFESTO festival had me swamped during Red Bull Music Academy Toronto, however I’ve since been very impressed with his catalogue.
