I discovered Benjamin Arce through an email blast about 6 months ago. While many of these blast services send some pretty junky music, this was a great gem to receive.
Benjamin is a Peruvian-born smoothed out soul singer based out of Los Angeles, a previous resident of Vancouver where he was part of a band called The Front, and Lost Tribes of The Sun hip hop crew with Jarrett Martineau.
The album Underground Soul was released about a month ago, a digital pay-what-you-can release acting as a preview and fundraising effort for his forthcoming official full album release.
