I’m really enjoying this video – in a really touching manner Slum Village pays tribute to their recently passed member Titus “Baatin” Glover in the video for “Actin’ Normal”, a track from their upcoming album release Villa Manifesto, which features a reunited SV including Baatin.
Baatin has always been a unique cat, which again comes through in the tempo changes in this clip, which really only features Elzhi and Baatin on the lyrics – for the most part at least. I really like the track, even if it’s not anything more than an album cut, won’t really hear this in the club or the mix shows likely.
