Toronto (via Vancouver and South Africa) vocalist Zaki Ibrahim is about to release her first project through Red Ink Music (a Sony/BMG imprint), an EP entitled Eclectica (Episodes in Purple). The project is a joint effort between Zaki’s own IQRA Music, District Six Music, and Red Ink.
While the majority of the production on the new EP is produced by former Bass is Base member Chin Injeti, a number of producers have been tapped for remixes of EP tracks.
The King Britt remix of “Money” will be included on the Eclectica EP, and we have it for your listening pleasure below. (hit up the comments area with your feedback – our Canadian acts need your feedback)

Her sound is so sweet… it’s crafted for soul house beats (brings me back to some classic India). The world will be enjoying Zaki for years to come.
