The Roots “crew” is exactly that, in their debut video and single “Get Busy” from the forthcoming album Rising Down. With official Roots crew members Dice Raw and newcomer Peedie Crakk on the track, in addition to Philly disc jockey pioneer Jazzy Jeff on the cuts, The Roots blast through toward their new full length effort.
Rik Cordero directed the flick (along with buzz track “75 Bars” video). It appears going a little more budget on their video, can add more character to the end product, as well as leaving a significantly smaller chunk of recoupable funds to pay out before they start making money off the record.
Rising Down hits stores April 29, 2008.
