UK vocalist Duffy joins an ever growing cast of vocalists bringing back a classic soul approach to their music, including the style of recording that brings back a sound of the 50′s/60′s.
Joining such vocalists as Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen, and Sharon Jones (and The Dap-Kings), Duffy will test if the new trend of throwback soul will succeed in the current marketplace, especially in North America.

I think Duffy is a fabulous young talent, I live in NZ and come originally from UK, was there last year and this year, and was blown away with the album Duffy, so when I arrived back in NZ I bought it and most of my friends. Well done girl!!!keep up the good work, and keep to your roots of life.
